CHRISTIAAN KUITWAARD (1965)

Christiaan explores the boundaries of the visible and the absent, to the effect of almost taking away any kind of form and shape and hardly painting anything at all. His small-scale interiors, still lifes and trees are constructed from the shadows, excluding all irrelevant details and human presence.
